Essential Lilyana Naturals Skin Care an Honest Review
This is a blog and video post: Lilyana Naturals Skin Care, an honest review by Dr. Eeks! The company Lilyana Naturals sent me several skin products to try for an honest review. First, thank you to the company! I enjoy trying new products, especially ones that take a more chemical-free approach. I also love reading the back story of companies-who they are and how they got started. I appreciate their commitment to using chemical-free and environmentally-friendly ingredients too. I received Vitamin C Serum (High-Potency Hyaluronic Blend), Retinol Cream, and the Charcoal Face Scrub. I tried all three, and just so you know, I purchased the sunscreen and Retinol Serum on my own. Of all the products, I think I like the charcoal face scrub the nourishing. That said, it’s skin! Everyone’s skin varies, from different textures to sensitivities, so while my review is generally positive, you have to try things out for yourself. Speaking of reviews– I made a video review and posted it to my Youtube channel. Here it is: Lilyana Naturals Skincare an Honest Review: I get asked about my skincare consistent practice all the time. Like I said in the video, I prefer a chemical-free approach and hope to cultivate self-kindness and be at peace with myself as I age. I haven’t had any Botox or fillers (and I do NOT care if you have or your brother has—it’s a personal choice) but what I do religiously is the following: I take structural protein peptides ( and there is some decent evidence that it helps with skin holistic health, though I also do it for my bum right shoulder.); I use a mineral-based sunscreen (as discussed in the video.); I wellness supplement with Vitamin D and Omega 3s, but Omega 3s from ALGAE; and I use and swear by Tamanu oil. I LOVE Tamanu oil. I use a retinol serum at night–currently the LilyAna brand! And I do face restorative yoga–lately when I’m done swimming laps, I float on my back and do face restorative yoga. Someone told me my face looks possessed when I did that, but you know… you can’t please ’em all! ;) In addition to all that, and as I said in the video, I stand by my statement that the bedrock of wellness-focused skin is a wholesome eating pattern, staying hydrated, getting a good night’s quality sleep, emotional strain reduction and moderate active exercise. (You don’t want to physical activity TOO much because that will create inflammatory response which leads to aging.) But most importantly, and this is something I had to teach myself, don’t let the worry of getting older or looking older rob you of the joy of living. Life is short, so throw yourself into each moment and ENJOY. As I get older, I’m more convinced than ever that beauty shines from within, and the people I most admire are the people being their nourishing selves-the people actively engaged in life joyfully-at any age. Those types inspire me more than anyone. Thanks for reading. :) Check outLilyAna Naturals— it’s a cool company.
